Hospitality Package for 2 people for the opening fixture of the season. Moseley v London Welsh Saturday 19th September 2015 k.o. 3pm

This is an outstanding auction prize from a recent fund raising do for an old school / rugby / cricket mate Mark 'Nobby' Whitehead.

Mark was vice-captain of the Solihull School first XI in 1984 and had the rare accolade of representing the school first XI from the age of 15. He was a prodigiously talented all rounder – a quick opening bowler and a destructive middle order batsman.

Mark went on to play for Blossomfield for over twenty years and, in the early 1990s was voted the Midland Club Cricket Conference Player of the Year i.e. he was judged by his peers to be the best amateur cricketer in Warwickshire. Mark was also a very talented winger for the school first XV and went on to represent the Old Sils 1st XV for a number of years at fly half and was a 'fine Sils tourist'!
In approximately 2003 Mark was diagnosed with, what was believed to be, Parkinson's Disease but in recent years his illness has been re-diagnosed as Multiple System Atrophy (www.msatrust.org.uk). The illness has confined Mark to a wheelchair and has caused him to have some difficulty with the clarity of his speech but his extraordinary fight, sporting spirit and sense of humour remain in abundance. Anybody who has enjoyed Mark's company over the years will know that he is simply a "great bloke" and entirely deserving of our assistance
The cricket event on 16th August was arranged by friends and colleagues to raise money to assist with equipping Mark's, and his wife Maria's, home with a bathroom which is suitable for his needs.
This auction prize (see attached) for next Saturday's match is still available to buy, can we get say £40 raised for Nobby from this prize.
