All good things must come to an end and unfortunately this was true in the case of former 1st XV titan Peter ‘Shelf’ Nicholls during Saturdays game at Leamington.
Blaming the searing Leamingtonian sunshine for his outrageous fudging up of a catch from the kickoff he did his best to grace the opposition an easy W.
Despite his generosity towards the Leamington team the number 8 had little empathy as he left Shelf for roadkill on his way under the posts.

A truly sad day for such a former great but a worthy recipient of the DoD trophy.
