With great sadness, we have to inform you all ...our friend, our colleague and coach to many of our boys - Jon Russell sadly passed away on Wednesday 1st August 2018.

Jon will be remembered with great affection as a friend and coach who always had enthusiasm for life and the game he loved. Our boys will remember him for his timely words of encouragement, always adding value to everything they could learn about the game. He delivered every message with great humour and a smile that made a difference ... we will all miss him very much.

Our thoughts are with his family, Theresa, Ben, Ollie & Jamie.

Jon’s funeral will be held at Robin Hood Crematorium, 21st August at 10.30am then on to the Silhillians Club afterwards.

Everyone is welcome, especially all the lads that Jon has encouraged and coached over the years.

Donations will be evenly split between Marie Curie and Cancer Research - therefore if you’re thinking of donating please bring along on the day of the funeral for collection. If you’re unable to make the funeral you can text to donate;
