I write to you as the new Club President, a role that I am honoured to fill. The club has always been a big part of my life beginning with my playing days from Colts to senior and 1st XV rugby, then mini and junior coaching (U6 to Colts) and always a supporter! I look forward to working with your committee to continue to take our club forward.

Our Men's 1st XV will again compete in the Midlands West Regional 2 league, with our Women's 1st XV (Sirens) competing in NC2 Midlands (Central) league,and Saxons and Colts teams also playing league rugby. So, plenty of rugby on the horizon to enjoy.
The players are well into their pre-season training, albeit the RFU have just announced that due to the drought, resultant hard pitches and player safety the start of the season will be delayed by 2 weeks to week commencing September 21st.

In the meantime let’s pray for some more rain!

In order to deliver the playing opportunities, it is important that we are fully funded.
The committee are working on a number of initiatives including a Sporting Lunch with Will Carling in Solihull on December 4th, more information on this to follow.
