Sils U12's win the Land Rover Cup at Worcester

Following some tough matches in the pool, and especially a tense match against Wolverhampton, Sils progressed to the Final having won all 4 matches.

In the final we met Stourbridge, who were likewise unbeaten.

A very tight game, with the majority of the running being made by Stourbridge, saw some fantastic defence keep us in the game.

We managed a couple of brief breakouts and on one such trip to their half we scored a try through Will S to put us into the lead.

Again, fantastically spirited play kept us in front and a jubilant team and squad were delighted to be able to celebrate as winners as full time was blown.

Stourbridge were understandably disappointed to lose but good spirit was shown between the two teams.
