The game got off to a poor start for the visitors who conceded a try within 2 minutes of the kick-off. With Sils looking sluggish Kidderminster looked to capitalise however missed a penalty opportunity to extend their lead.
Sils managed to string phases of their own together and worked their way up the field to apply pressure to home side for the first time in the afternoon. This managed to draw a penalty from the home side which was converted by Harrison Law. The remainder of the first half was played in the middle third of the pitch as both sides seemed to cancel one another out. After 30 mins the Kidderminster extended their lead to make it 8 – 3 which is how it stayed until half time.
The second half was a slightly more interesting affair for the travelling supporters. Sils came out fighting with some strong defence and powerful scrimmaging began to get the upper hand. However they just could not turn it into points and it was indeed Kidderminster who scored first with another penalty, 11-3. Sils continued to press and were rewarded on 70 minutes when the forwards won quick ball and the backs created space for Rafael Guimaraes to score out wide, converted by Harrison Law. 5 minutes later Sils were at it again with almost a carbon copy and Rafael Guimaraes went over again to cap a remarkable fight back. The conversion attempt was unsuccessful, however Sils were now in the lead.
The home side tried as hard as they could to work their up the field. They were camped in the Sils 22 for the remainder of the game but could not find a way through the visitors defence. Final Score, 11-15 to Sils
